Chapter 7 : Ladies Auxiliary Society of Khoshmat
The presence of women adds inexhaustible charm to any institution. We were delighted to know that the women of Khoshmat established this union on March 29, 1941 in Providence.
These are the names of the ladies who were among the members of the union:
1. Mrs. Baydzar Sarkis(Sharig)ian
2. Mrs. Markrid T. Chakoian
3. Mrs. Sarah Saroian
4. Mrs. Alice Papazian
5. Mrs. Anna Malian
These ladies were the founders of the union (Charter Members). The number of them has reached 22.

Though this Ladies Society has no direct connection with the Tbrotsasirats Association, their initiatives frequently yielded good results.
Activities of the Society
Ladies Auxiliary Society of Khoshmat made efforts to support the ones who are in need by:1. Donating $80000 to the people of Khoshmat living in France.
2. Donating $5000 to the tanks of David of Sassoun [a tank regiment in the Red Army].
3. Donating $2500 to the church of Providence.
4. Sending delegates to the World Armenian Congress.
